This privacy policy will explain how Soil Comply which is an application provided by Spring Environmental Ltd uses the personal data we collect from you during the course of our business.
What data do we collect?
Spring Environmental Ltd (SEL) will collect data through the use of the Soil Comply application:
- Contact information such as Name, email address, and business postal address
- Our website will collect cookies to analyse website traffic and optimise the website experience. Data will be aggregated with other user data.
How do we collect your data?
You or colleagues within your business will provide the data we collect through:
- Provision of details as part of a contracted deliverable
- Through our website or your engagement with other channels such as LinkedIn.
How will we use your data?
We will use your data to:
- Engage as necessary as part of a contracted deliverable, which may include your name as part of management information reporting to relevant third parties. These third parties are limited to relevant delivery and tier 1 contractors.
- To contact you following an enquiry made to SEL through any of our channels (website, email, telephone, LinkedIn)
- To make you aware of any service or opportunity which SEL believes may benefit you.
How do we store your data?
- We store your data on our secure hosted cloud environment. Only our nominated IT developers and Spring Environmental have authorised access to the SEL cloud environment. Stored data is encrypted.
- All electronic equipment linked to the secure cloud environment is password protected.
- SEL does not and will never pass on personal data to a third party without the written permission of the data owner.
What are your data protection rights?
Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request our company for copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that SEL corrects any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that SEL erases your personal data. We may need to hold related data provided by you where they may be needed in the future for audit or other purposes given the purpose of Soil Comply is to provide information related to statutory reporting for StreetWorks UK Compliance.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that SEL restricts the processing of your personal data.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request SEL transfers the data we hold to another organisation, or to you.
